As someone also in the immediate neighborhood, a Farm Boy is my preferred store, too. It would be a much closer walk than going to Metcalfe or driving to Train Yards on the way to or from from a Costco run, and so handy that it's right at Lyon Station.
If I need cheaper paper products or a bulk buy of canned goods I just go to Massine's Independent, so we do have a full serve grocery store in the area that's reasonably priced.
I hated the Sobey's back in the day, never really went there consistently until it became a Farm Boy. Those urban format stores are no better than Farm Boy in my opinion, honestly I find them worse for the types of selection.
As some have already answered, Amazon is super easy. I'm on our condo board and Amazon is rolling out new services for buildings to improve service and reduce theft. I think parcel lockers provided by them are coming in the future, for now it's mainly systems to allow deliveries easier access via intercoms. We don't currently have lockers except for Canada Post but I've never had a package stolen in the 6 years I have been here. It does happen but not sure it's any more frequent than porch pirates anywhere else in the city.
