I asked about this site a couple years ago and dug this up from 2017 (see below). That said, I don't think this is active now and the zoning has been changed since then, so I doubt this is the plan now.

If it was a typo and you meant the southwest corner of 600S and 400W, then this may be the answer. Already approved by the PC for awhile now:

Awesome news. I drove by both of these project sites and they are BOTH under construction!

Not surprised about the "Journeyman" project (G3 Apartments) but the other one on the southeast corner is a mystery. There's no way that they can build the hotel in the same form as they proposed back in 2017, and I haven't found any relevant permits for the parcel. Address is 365 W 600 S.

I'll add to the good news pile:

Work resumed on Gabbotts Row last week.

But all these new projects can't be starting. Marvland said so.

On the downside of things, someone on Reddit mentioned that the West Quarter Phase II land (former RWP & post office site) is being paved over as a parking lot. Another rumor was that construction on Block C is a year out. Who knows.

Perhaps I spoke incorrectly about the parcel on the northwest corner of 4th West & 6th south. I did see, however, that the size of the project is close to what was shown on those renderings. It was even larger. It extended to 7th south.

2 sites demoed in Granary

I drove by 2 sites in the Granary that had active demolition going on, but I could not find any information on them.

The first one is on the southwest corner of 9th south and 4th west.
The second one is on the southeast corner of the southeast corner of 7th south and 5th west. Anybody care to find info on these?

random pics of Granary & Central 9th

Here's an update on the street improvements on 9th south at about 200 or 300 west in the Central 9th area.

Granary Troll at about 400 West and 700 South. Also notice the lot to the right of it has been demoed and prepped for construction.

No idea. I don't know enough about the industry to predict what will happen. I barely understand what actually did happen.

Woopee. Three of the 47 new projects mentioned here in the last six months are being built! Some advice: talk to a developer or a banker. Hell talk to any lying booster/broker. Only acquisitions being done are covered land plays or distressed. Meaning places to park money that produce income or cover the nut. Everywhere. 50% of CMBS balloon in the next 18 months at double the rates of 18 months ago. This is the perfect inverse of 2008. Commercial defaults lead residential instead of vice versa.

It's a cycle. The sky won't fall, it's just much needed reset. Just the stupid fat is being trimmed. Land values quadrupled in 3 years. It was dumb and this is very very good.

Please forgive me for posting this huge photo but I wanted to know if what seems like a newer unfinished project I missed is being built on
No. Temple. It's a few buildings east of Hardware. Notice it just to the right of the crane. Is that a multi-family that updates were missed
on or is it just my forgetfulness?

Are you seeing Seasons on City Creek? The one that's gray on the top floor and beige on lower floors. It's an older complex and that is unfortunately the finished product. The black and white building between that and the Hardware building is Skyhouse. And the shorter one east of Seasons that is barely visible is an office building that's been there forever.

There is also the one directly under the crane boom. It looks like the project on 9th West, where the Walgreens was, just north of the Rancho Market, I can't remember the name.
