More details on the next phases of the station refurb. Apparently they will be addressing the platforms and upgrading them.

This return to VIA higher service and far more useful than that stupid slow boat to China train that GO offered. This would have made all those new Toronto transplants from the Worker's Compensation Board happy but alas it looks like they have chosen the far flung suburbs.

VIA rail is roughly 25 to 35% more expensive than GO train. A good question is why hasn’t Metrolinx made GO bus service available to London from the very beginning. Another question why is there not proper transit terminal in London? Transportation has always been weak point in London. Substandard BRT under construction rapid transit no downtown transit terminal no major crosstown highway consistent failure to deliver.

There was a time the Greyhound was across the street from Via. As it is now, the out of town buses park on York St in front of Via. London transit is (and the BRT will be) a short block away from Via. Not really sure if having all those in the same exact location would really improve services for any of them though.

This morning marked the return of the early Via to Toronto, leaving at 625am, and also the late afternoon return leaving Toronto at 415pm.
