The big O is not "Iconic" or "recognizable" people act like this is Montreal's world renowned structure like the eiffel tower, Big ben or the roman colosseum. In the video they said that people come from all over the world to see it...Get out of here. I bet 1 in every 100 canadians outside of quebec and 1 of every 5000 americans could tell you what city that hideous money pit is in. Montreal has no Eiffel Tower, nor Big Ben, nor Roman Colosseum. Its most recognizable symbol is the Olympic Stadium. So, yes, it is the most iconic landmark in the city.
And 1 and 5000 Americans couldn't tell anything significant about Canada. They only know America (and still...).
The Olympic Stadium cannot be blown up, it would cost about 900 millions $ do demolish it.
