Isn't there a bridgehead on the other side already

There is. You know what is odd about this spot? There is no Shawarma for 11 blocks, which is around 11 blocks more than the average in this city.

Agree on the fcat there is no shawarma in westboro. Not sure it has the best demographics for a shawarma business , but it’s ottawa so the demand is always there…

Shawarma has a ' demographic'? It's in virtually every neighborhood from Stittsville to Orleans...

Definitely wished there was a shawarma spot in Westboro when I lived there. Only place close was the Shish Kabob House on Carling which is the worst shawarma place (and possibly restaurant) I have ever been to.

I'd go to Single Curve Coffee just to order a cup of Lazy's Haz Bean.

Rich Westboro folks prefer they’re poke bowls, pure kitchen wraps and a 7 dollar latte from Starbucks.

Buff and brown, respectively.

Hideous monstrosity.

I have nearly given up that I will ever get excited about ANY construction project in this city. It has been years now and I can't even recall what the last one was.

What a sad town this is.

I certainly see the similarity, but this new one us certainly better than its neighbour across the street.

Seeing from the ground up close, in person, its actually not half bad. Though I understand the aversion to Charwhite.

Other than the chance to use bad spelling, is any real purpose served by naming a rental apartment building?

That's like asking if there is a purpose to branding and marketing, of course there is a purpose

Let's play "how badly did they cheap out on Ottawa's version?"

Livmore Ville-Marie

https://www.gwlrealtyadvisors.com/post_n...s-starts-construction-on-phase-ii-tower/

Livmore High Park

https://livmorehighpark.com/

Livmore Bay & Gerrard

https://www.stephenson-eng.com/project/bay-gerrard-condominium/
https://thelivmore.com/

Livmore Westboro

I'd like to see how much the apartments go for in each building along with contractions costs. I'm sure Toronto's apartments are far more expensive, but Montreal's are likely cheaper.

People who live here will have a nice view of Metropole, which was built, what 19 years ago (?), and will maybe never look as dated as these grey cardboard boxes with little window holes punched out.
