I'd argue the PQ may have already overtaken QS as the most likely government-in-waiting. They are way behind QS in seats at the moment but have been ahead of them in the polls for a while in addition to having the ability to win seats in all regions, urban, suburban and rural.
QS can't seem to break out of its inner city bobo straitjacket. And even yesterday's PQ win shows that QS might be weakening with demographics they'd been doing well with.
My money is still on the CAQ getting re-elected in 2026, though.
