I think those are referred to as “skid marks”.

I’d be pissed if that was the view out of my office. Fortunately for me, my office doesn’t have any windows I can look out of. 😅🙃

That has something to do with the sprinkler system testing and surely (probably not) they will power wash it at some point before being complete.

Yeah, I can't imagine them leaving it like that. I'm sure there is a solution in place to where that isn't a constant problem.

Yes. I believe the tower is scheduled for its colonoscopy early next week. Do to its size, they began the Clenpiq preparation recently.

They don't seem to be in any hurry to clean it. Assuming they have to install a window washing system still?

Or they haven't quite gotten around to fixing the problem that's causing it.

It’s just rust water stains from them draining/pressurizing the sprinkler system.

They could not have picked a more prominent spot for those drainage pipes though. Couldn't they have placed them in a more discreet location? Then again I'm no architect or engineer so what do I know.

To be fair, the fairmont has large exhaust vents about 15 feet up alongside cesar chavez that have plenty of rust/stains as well, alongside a large sign next to it saying "KITCHEN EXHAUST."

So 6x isn't the only offender...

I’m thinking over flow on amenity deck that’s getting water when it shouldn’t. You can see the other overflows adjacent to it on the left and right that aren’t streaking.

Greetings everyone from the Denver, Colorado thread!

I've been lurking around this thread for a while, first time posting. I'm sorry to see some of the issues that have recently cropped up - like the prominent poo stain, and the cheap-looking interior decoration, and the renaming (she'll always be "6X" to me). But I just wanted to say that, on the whole, I think she's still a solid addition to the skyline and any city would be lucky to have her.

I wish we had something equivalent coming up in Denver - the last comparable building we got was the Optiv Building, 5 years ago (which does look a little bit like a shorter version of The Republic). I posted this on the Denver thread a while back, but I think that if someone just copied-and-pasted 6X into Denver, and fixed some of the issues like the poo stain, and picked a better name too, then she would be the perfect addition to the our skyline with the Rockies in the background. One can dream.
