I brought this up a couple years ago somewhere on this website lol.
Its a shame, this is the ONLY time in like 100 years (before AND after today) where there are no buildings on the southern alignment, either east or west of the southern intersection. Would it be so difficult to construct the other two lanes through the southern alignment right now? Probably wouldn't even need any major road closures.
But it's true, the
heavy NCC bureaucracy makes the entire conversation next to impossible.
Forget about making things better in a smart way. Lets just keep things as they are. Riverside / Vanier Parkway is classic for that. No touching allowed!
