I noticed the 5-story bldg referenced in the Towers article below at 15th & San Antonio St. finally restarted construction again. Drove by yesterday and the site was very active. Didn't have time to snap a pic though.

Looks like a good take off spot for a drone as long as it doesnt get too crowded like Republic Square park. Plus there is not a jail no fly zone around it like at RSP

It's been about 56 days (8 weeks) since the last progress update. Below, the red lines show the current heights of the towers, and the blue lines show the towers' heights at the last update (7-6-23).

Towers shown are those currently under construction that have yet to top-out.

I should note, I’m not sure that The Republic is at that height for certain. I think it’s probably closer to the 50 meter mark, but the drawing isn’t exactly to scale.

Your project diagrams are an excellent resource. I added this latest one to the first post in the sticky development thread to make it easy to find. We can update it whenever you create a new diagram.

Thank you so much for doing that! I should get started on a Paseo diagram so we can include that one as well. Now that it’s started going vertical, I’m slightly less paranoid about drawing it.

Does someone want to take the time and do the math to determine dates for, at least waterline; republic; ATX; Modern; and Colorado, reach benchmark heights? You can make some pretty accurate assumptions to calculate good nuff for gov work estimates. Then throw them into this graph and let's see how it performs.

That's the old El Mercado site, correct? If so, it was announced quite a while ago that this was going to be a Hilton Garden Inn (17ish stories tall).

Obviously, plans change. Just not sure if they changed from what was announced.

I believe there was a discussion about this in one of the threads. However, I'm not lazy to look for it right now.

You're right, it's El Mercado, but it won't be an HGI -- there's a newly completed one right across 17th street.
