Regina continues to create more opportunities to attract business.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the sod turning for Titan Business Park, a new development in the heart of Regina's industrial district.

Titan Business Park will be a state-of-the-art facility and one of the largest industrial buildings established in Saskatchewan in the past decade.

Congratulations to all the partners involved on this exciting development that will enhance supply chain, logistics, transportation, and distribution activity in our city.

Woodland Grove closed between Buckingham and Arens until November 17th. When I was past there tonight they ripped out the curb on the side facing the Towns. Not sure if they are widening the road to accommodate turn lanes ahead of extending Arens to Chuka next year or just moving the storm drains back and doing the widening next year. When they widened Woodhams to Buckingham it was an all summer project.

Checking on Streetview the storm drains were added between the 2021 and 2022 imagery, so maybe enough of the preliminary work was done back when they had that entire stretch closed off and they will be able to widen it in just 3 months. Checking again I guess they were always there they just changed the type of cover. https://goo.gl/maps/EmcJwQcPgybeicUDA

Also regarding the Assiniboine multiuse pathway. East of University Park Drive they are making it an actual path separate from the sidewalk over to the creek.

Work has started on the two new city water reservoirs and pumping station over by the SGI salvage yard. Big mound of dirt where they scrapped off the top soil for the construction site. Work is also supposed to start this year running a water pipeline along the ring road from the Pasqua Street reservoirs.

Some more pictures out at the Cargill plant. Better lighting conditions without the glare of a setting sun. Welded steel tanks getting taller. It looks like there is a bolt together tank getting built where they start at the top and jack it up to insert additional sections at the bottom. The bridge that will go over the rail loop is finally getting started.

If this render is accurate, those ones shouldn't get too tall. There will be some very large ones south of the concrete silos that haven't started to rise yet.

The new part of Westerra has the streetlights installed and powered before they even got the pavement down. The final grading is nearly done so it should get paved next week. There are also utilities going in just southwest of Sharp Park in what is supposed to be a business park area (actually taking another look at the map its probably outside the business park area and will likely be stacked condos or apartments).

At least they can string words together in a valid sentence. Or, are aware of the existence of punctuation?

You realize you second line is not a sentence, right?

30 km from Regina, a bit far for a new neighborhood.

It’s actually 60 km (it’s south of Qu’Appelle). It won’t be anything other than farmland (and there’s no reason for it not to stay that way - even if it were much closer).

Zero on a developer. A family from Europe or Ontario? Highly likely.

Anyone know what is being built in phase 1A in the fleet street business park?
Earthwork seems to have been started east of fleet street extending red bear Avenue.

The city is building two new water reservoirs and a pumping station to help with water pressure in the SE and support city growth. A pipeline will also be built to them from the station at Pasqua & 9th N.
