No dude, Labtec is saying they missed an opportunity to have the ad up for the Beyonce concerts.

Sigh...you're probably right. This is one of the most iconic pieces of architecture in the city and someone feels the need to cover it with a multi-story billboard.

OK misread. Seems like it will be more than just a very temporary AD because of the expense of putting it up. A little much but I hope MB is to paying extra for it.

Yea, just piling on but it is an interesting and unique looking building that is pleasant on the eyes. Even the MB emblems have an OK class look. But a cheap ass looking advertising "billboard" "glued on" the windows is distracting and a blight.

I know I should let this go, but I can't.

I took this photo prior to last night's ATL UTD match. Although the graphics are great, such a stunning architectural structure shouldn't be turned into a billboard. It would be like having McDonalds adding another arch to St. Louis' Gateway Arch or adding Raybans to one of the carvings at Mt. Rushmore.
I suppose I should be grateful the stadium isn't somehow connected with Philly's MLS sponsor, Bimbo, or we could be looking at a 10-story tall graphic of Marjorie Taylor Greene.

I'm assuming you can see through it pretty well from inside the stadium because if not that would make it that much more stupid

Working in a hotel that huge is stressful, especially when its a new, shiny toy that the company is showing off

I do not envy the people opening that hotel - at least they should staff it well (for a hotel at least)

I do not miss hotel operations

Building looks GREAT - the views from there will be spectacular

Kinda a finised look. Just wish they didn't build it right next to that tacky looking billboard.

Its weird people are praising this one. It is another generic boring glass box.

Observing it from my Midtown office it really sticks out in a bad way from the rest of the view.
