This needs some type of 100-150ft ornate spire on the eastern elevation to save it from being a plain glass box. IMO, Lack of vision and a missed opportunity at GWCCA.

I'm excited to see how they light the top. Lots of interesting opportunities for it, including backlighting that well shows the structure of the curtain wall.

Is what it is. I have my own pet peeves - this one doesn't come close.

I agree. Great artists know how much is enough and when to stop. There lies a subtle threshold between "just right" and "too much," and I believe this design strikes a balance that will age well.

Nothing much different to see but a large ad going up on the stadium.

Guess all the Mercedes emblems and the stadium name weren't enough to get the point across!

And what's that red car, a Toyota? The streets around the stadium should be restricted to Mercedes only.

I sure hope the ad is a temporary addition, as in gone by the end of next week.

Two Falcons home games on 9/10 & 9/17 as well as Leo Messi coming to town on 9/16. My guess is that it'll be up thru then.

If it was up last week, could've had it up for the Beyonce concerts.

I took that pic yesterday (Aug 17). Here is pic I took on Aug 10 and there is no evidence of it. Did they put it up less than a week ago and already taking down just 6 days later?
