Mods, can we get the height here changed to 108m? That was the final approved height I believe.

This is probably a first, at least posted here. Hardly recognizable on first glance.

That lot behind city hall looks *HUGE* though. I hope the vision for it happens.

Awesome shot SteelTown.

In that lot you could literally build three City Halls. Hopefully if they build back there, they can include a nice court yard in the middle between CH and a proposed build out.

Agreed, the lot behind City Hall is a massive amount of wasted space. Ridiculous.

The proposal for behind City Hall is vapourware; don't pin your hopes on it. It should absolutely be developed, but that won't be how it's done, and those won't be the proponents behind it.

As to this project, a couple shots from today.

The liuna building is still one of the best preserved buildings of its time downtown - from the cornice right down to the stone foundation, and the stone entrance it's in excellent shape

I would love to have known what was originally around it though.

these are great aerial shots, keep them coming.

Also, these photos really highlight just how many surface lots that can take on so much future builds and density .

They're really taking their time excavating this one.... but hoping to see a crane in maybe the next few weeks. I believe they've basically bottomed out.

Further back it says for floors of underground parking but the site does look like it's bottomed out.

It's only two floors of below grade parking levels, and three above grade. Somewhere back in this thread someone posted the architectural set from the city.

Looks like they are going deeper on the James Street side.
