What's NSERC pay nowadays plus TAing? Back when I was at Mac grad school it was relatively lucrative so potentially those recipients could afford it.

Who genuinely talks about other adults like this? I’m no fan of a lot of Kroetch’s politics, but that doesn’t mean he’s a loser. Treat people with respect.

His Twitter feed says otherwise. Trees and respect.

Kroetsch treats his enemies with absolute disdain. He basically called a fellow councillor a white supremacist.

Kroetch’s twitter feed is literally just disparaging remarks about people he doesn't like, while asserting himself as the moral alternative.

Hey pals, I can't believe I'm saying this, but can we stay on topic, take your conspiratorial level of whinging to one of the specifically set out complaining threads.

May I suggest the one where you guys rant about homeless folks like they're vermin to be eradicated? I think that makes sense so the rest of us can discuss the developments and things related.

I mean, when Cameron Kroetsch wants to go on a twitter tirade claiming that this development is bad for students, how is this topic not relevant? He needs to be called out wherever necessary.

Ok I will only rag on Kroetsch when it’s warranted and won’t go out of my way to bring him up.

I was in the area for my second walk two days ago, and got a few pictures of this big guy. It's looking good!

I love the impact this is making from street level and skyline. Those gold panels are really neat too!

This one really has a big city street presence for sure.

Would Mac consider move in on the first 10 floors or so and then finish the remaining structure bearing in mind a Sept scheduled move in. It seems the King street side is getting a full court press at ground level.

I believe that's the plan. They are planning for at least some form of partial occupancy, if not full occupancy, by September.

I'm sure finishing touches will be happening into the fall, but I think they are pushing to have students in here by then.
