Anyone know what's up with the O.P. Skags block? The big house directly north of OPs and all the houses on Bishop place are all boarded up. I'm guessing that they are going to be demolished??

I like those tucked away, narrow streets. I hope the town homes look decent enough or I'll be disappointed we're doing away with some older homes for suburban crud.

Am I worthy to ask the hyper-elite-cognoscenti a question about any possible mid-rise development south of the Crane building??

The parking lot stinketh, which lieth south of heretofore mentioned edifice. Might Ye Almighty Sages of Wisdom proffer this incorrigible serf some great knowledge forthcoming?

Really enjoyed these updated images of the new Regent St. Project from a few pages back, so I bumped them up. This is really shaping up to be an exciting extension between CCC and Gallivan.

I was thinking the same thing about that little building on the northeast entry, but opening it up at the ground levels will help a lot. I predict that corner will become too valuable in the near future, and that building will be demolished eventually. Probably not too far off into the future, as that corner is now becoming such a major prestige point. Someone is going to want to capture the upcoming value of that plot and build an upscale, multi-use tower of at least a mid-rise variety. On the northwest corner, I think the old Deseret News building's spiral staircase makes for an attractive entry.

Last month, Isaac mentioned that a developer had purchased one of the surface lots owned by the Greek Orthodox Church and had plans to develop there soon. It was never specified which lot it was, but I would assume it's the lot south of the Crane building. It may also be the lot across the street to the east, but I doubt it since the GOC still uses it for events

I honestly have a feeling we are going to very pleasantly surprised when we see the accepted proposal. I have no idea why I had that feeling as I walked into Harmons tonight but I did.

Maybe I'm just overly optimistic about Salt Lake City's future.
