Where will WestJet's new Boeing 767s be going once they are delivered? They will be the largest vessels in the fleet (by a significant margin), with one of the farthest ranges, so I imagine they will be a long range, high ridership route. Possibly Calgary - Toronto?

WestJet has already stated the first birds are going to be used on the Alberta-Hawaii flights.

Remember for a route like YYZ-YYC frequency is key, better to have 10 flights a day with 737's instead of 5 with 767's (just throwing out numbers).

I'm by no means an expert like some others in this thread, but I believe it's been fairly well advertised that they are going to start running on the YYC and YEG flights to Hawaii in winter - essentially replacing the leased 757s they've been using the last few years. They'll probably expand from there.

Nope. Just has to do with the fact that NYC airspace is jam packed and airborne holding/gate holds are a daily occurrence.

Without looking into the complete results in much detail.....Air Canada seems to be doing ok.

Looking at the results more closely... challenges ahead... but who doesn't.

Interesting re-numbering of gates. A little more intuitive. In somewhat related news, I heard the new wing was behind schedule by as much as 5 to 6 months. Has anyone else heard the same? Maybe I'll just need to place a call to DiaLog.

Hmm, haven't heard anything about that. Such a big project though that it wouldn't surprise me. It just gives the CAA more time to make sure they get BA to fly in an A380 for the grand opening.

Good news for AC, and for overall air travel in Canada.

The next 5 years will be very interesting, as AC gets younger, leaner & (likely) more profitable while WS get older, implements a more complicated fleet & organizational structure, and continues to expand their network. Both airlines will continue to grow and IMO all this is good news for YYC.

Be interested to know if they are approved delays (due to changes) or if it is just schedule slip.

I believe that is correct. Hopefully the CAA takes the opportunity if they have any money left to refurbish the old B/C pier.
