......Nope, it still looks like a giant, yellow intestinal tract.
Good try though.

Well, I stand corrected on city photos just being a homer forum. My new thread has been up for two weeks and not one reply from a forumer from that city. Awesome.

You need to find something very controversial to put in your photo thread. Say, in the middle or so, put a video of a goat sacrifice or something.

^I thought someone riding transit in a small Canadian city was controversial.

Awww, I was posting just the other day about Flavor Flavs restaurant located near here. It opened in January and it's already closing. He seems like such a reliable, sensible businessman too.

Sounds like we're going to hear a war of words for a week or two.

A Conservative candidate has spam voice-mailed my house four times now. The funny thing is, I'm not in his riding. Irritating and not very productive.

I've gotten brochures from two different NDP candidates. Not that it matters, I'm voting as an Albertan anyway.

Well, voted as an Albertan; I mailed in my special ballot this morning.

I've voted Green in both elections since I've been eligible. They actually came in second in my riding, well above the third place NDP and fourth place Grits. That said, the Tories got 77% of the vote.

I just found out today that the Conservative candidate in my riding, Moe Comuzzi-Stehmann (real name Maureen), is the same Maureen Stehmann (note the lack of maiden name) who co-owned our East Side Mario's franchise, and who, in 2007, when a road re-surfacing project blocked off access to their restaurant for a day, went outside and threw a hissy fit at the roadworkers, making the front page of the paper. The restaurant came under new management shortly after, and two years later, it went under.

As if I didn't have enough reasons to doubt her capabilities as a representative of anything, we learn this. I'm beginning to strongly believe that the only reason she was chosen as the candidate for the Conservatives in this riding is because she is the niece of Joe Comuzzi, a past (and popular) Liberal-turned-Conservative MP for this city. She seems to be trying to turn herself into her uncle. I bet if we had long, drawn out campaigns like the Americans she would have gotten a sex changed during the campaign to actually be Joe Comuzzi.

For Americans: East Side Mario's is a shitty Italian-Canadian chain restaurant. They had a terrible reputation here in their later years, with one person accusing the place of being flooded with feces after a bad experience...

Some aren't loading right away, you have to wait a few seconds for the image to finally appear, and that's for anyone's photos, not just mine. Otherwise, everything is normal.

Dear Morbidly Obese Woman (next to me at the gym):

I am glad that you have decided to take up an exercise regimen, however, I would rather not get whiffs of your fish taco while exercising next to you on an elliptical machine. I like fish, I like pussy, but I do NOT like pussy smelling like fish.

Regards,

Cleveland Brown

It seriously sucked. That's why it is closed. I have no idea why our Swiss Chalet is still open, either. This city suffers from a lack of skilled chefs which is part of the problem, but poor management is another factor.

You poor thing. Is it a 50-cents-a-day gym, or an expensive gym?

It's neither, but equally fabulous! It's the Young Men's Christian Association

We don't have a YMCA here anymore. I don't think we have since the 1980s.
