Thanks for the files dleung, unlike the last these were cad files so maya can import them. I think Gresto was talking about Couture and X2 in the front corner.

Great job

(I'd love to have the height map used to build the model)

I was using existing towers for height scales. Mind you I should just create stand in geo's for 100,150,200,250,300,350m. It would save me time. When I do Vancouver I think I'll do that.

That's right, thanks. The 609 Sherbourne complex is one block to the east, hence out of range.

Pretty impressive! A couple of 900-1000 footers would really add a lot. I kind of like the "Book-end" effect. Talls on both ends of DT.

Are any of those buildings in the entertainment district going to be office towers?

In addition to the Queen-Richmond Centre, several of those condos will have a few floors of office space at the bottom: Tableau, Peter Street Condos, The Bond.

There was also a vision for a large office tower in the middle of the cluster, but it's probably a long way out.

The Queen Richmond Centre.

There's also word of a fairly large office project for the NW corner of King/Peter (current Shoppers Drug Mart) in the works by Allied REIT. Potential for up to 800,000 sq feet of office space.

Would be nice to have some height variation though. They're all roughly 100-150 m.

true, but then again, you have the ritz, theater park, and those types of towers to mix up the bunch... but ya, in a sense, i can see the flat effect.

A little deco/modernist condo/office tower I whipped up. 75 floors around 290m.

theater park is actually about the same height as the rest of them, so it is basicly just The ritz and RBC dexia that mix it up.

The Entertianment District will be good enough to film the new "Bladerunner" movie in all by itself. I hope Toronto is chosen as the film location for the new movie. It is almost the most logical choice. - I only hope we can finish 4 or 5 dozen of the downtown towers before that time.
