So, the standard free sketchup can still put things into google earth right?

yup. You have to export a KMZ file then open it in earth, the direct export button doesn't work any more for me, though it is still in the sketchup program, greyed out.

Ah, I thought I'd messed something up when I last installed it.

They still haven't 3D scanned Hamilton yet though, so that's annoying.

I'm hoping for Halifax sometime soon, although they probably want to focus more on central Canada before the Maritimes.

Within 5 years I hope to see it in Hali, Moncton, Saint John and St. John's.

Light Blue = 102 St. Centre (Proposed)

I wonder if Brookfield will appear closer to the height of the Bow from this angle due to it being farther away? Also wonder if it will appear fatter than this image suggests?

I would think that it would look just a tad fatter, but definitely appear closer to the bow from this angle. I played around in Google Earth after I saw that photo and I agree.

That angle makes the skyline look very sparse. Is it an outdated image they used for the render? Are some buildings missing?
