Isn't that an interesting point. If this bridge closes to everyone - including cyclists and pedestrians - for a few weeks every spring, it could become inconvenient for folks to get to the Ottawa side.
Does the Quebec side also close due to high water? Could the residents of ZIBI be left stranded on an island?
