Some of the key words here are "courage", "integrity", "foresight", "grit", "perseverance" and "tenacity": not so much on the part of the homeless campers, but for the authorities concerned. The previous administrations, especially the mayors and park board members, failed miserably when it comes to the retention of such qualities. We do see some of these in the current administration, and shall see how the current situation plays out.
