Not surprising given that those communities of newcomers tend to be way more tight knit as compared to the third or fourth generation Canadian who has no meaningful connection to the "old country", its language and culture, etc.

This may have been true 10 years ago with older millennials, but certainly isn't true for younger millennials and Gen Zs.
