An open letter to Shape: when will AMB get a grocery store? Just found out that Shape's sister project in City of Lougheed has a Price Smart grocery store, whereas the residents of AMB have been here for almost 3 years, and not one grocery store on site. A recent market survey showed 61% of AMB residents want an on site grocery store. Seems like it is no where even close to getting one. I think Shape can do better to serve the residents of AMB. I am tired of dragging my nanny card crossing two busy streets 3X a week to whole food since my fridge is ridiculously small. All we have are 5 coffee shops and a weed shop which is hardly wholesome living. Personally I am not expecting large scale shop like T & T or Price Smart , even a small corner store which carries fresh produce will meet the need in the mean time. After all AMB is suppose to be a master planned community which meets most needs of its residents.
