I feel they dropped the ball on craftsmanship - it feels like they took the scale of a mid century one but stripped all the detail off. And I am not a fan of the modern movement. At least emboss some of the mullions - give it SOMETHING other than just 90 degree angles.. pretty much every type its trying to emulate had some sorta fancy stone sculpted element at the top or above the entrances. Really the only eye catchers here are the "stone" (yes I know precast) bands near the top and the style of windows, which admittedly is better than nothing, but when you compare it to their other two (three if you include olympia club) builds the craftsmanship side feels like it falls short.

I mean, compare to westinghouse..

Feels a bit dull and bland in comparison.. doesn't it. All I am saying is they could have done a bit more embellishment - we tend to expect a bit more from them than other architects at this point. I will give it credit though, at least it has stone lintels under the windows.

I do kinda feel like they may have gotten inspiration for this one from the one they JUST renovated as it has similar elements. The 3 story one I believe it was.
