I don't think Vin even leaves his parents basement, let alone see other cities. Granville Street is nowhere close to what East Hastings is. I was just in Toronto, and walking down Queen Street West there are bums beggars all over the place. The only area that really stands out in Vancouver (in a Canadian context) is East Hastings Vin has no idea what he is talking about.
