One might expect homelessness in poor, Third World countries, but not in prosperous countries such as in Western Europe, and in Canada, which flaunts its "Highest Quality of Life" ranking shamelessly.
This should not be happening. And that is intended as an understatement.
Availability of housing has to go up. And the cost for people below a certain income has to come down. Just how? Seek, and you shall surely find an answer or answers. A total overhaul in social policy and public finance seems in order, and an implementation of such, both budgetarily and in building affordable housing has got to come. Case closed.
Look at how neat and tidy those in London are, compared with the messed up addicts we have here.
