Public Disorder & the Decline of Vancouver's Livability

This young security guard who happens to moonlights as a delivery driver in my building downtown just had his car broken into from his overnight shift and had all of valuables stolen... It really broke me because it's always people in the lower-end of the middle class that gets the shit end of the stick from this public disorder and decline.

Sick of this type of criminality being normalized and I don't know how being tone deaf or downplaying the problem helps anyone...

For sure we need more housing and mental health support, but at the pace of building these two pillars we will always be playing catch-up and just bandaging the issue while more of these troubled individuals migrate from across the nation and gets dumped in Vancouver to take advantage of the support services

We need a SERIOUS re-form and have a DRASTIC change to protect the honest, working people of the city and cut off the resources we've been pouring to this endless pit of black hole. No more half-measures or carrots.
