Any news on when existing building demolition will start? The Tim Hortons at that location had been closed for a few months now.

Westbank might have made a wise decision to switch the new building to rental. The housing market might not be as good as we see on the surface.
The 5050 Joyce Street building construction across the street is nearly completed. I am a bit surprised to receive a mail pamphlet today from Westbank about an open house to be held this weekend. It mentioned there are still 25 units available for purchase. I thought all units were sold out when launched a few years ago? Purchaser of a 3-bedroom unit will get a furniture package, free 1 year internet service, an electric car and an electric bike!
