Sticking with academia for a moment, Northwestern Michigan College (NMC) opened its new West Hall Innovation Center in September of 2020. The $7 million project substantially remodeled the existing, 50-year-old West Hall building to provide a new 54,000 SF library and flex learning space, as well as a home for Campus Safety, Dining Services, the college radio station, and technology space.
