Proposal to demolish the
Maison funéraire Serge Legault on Allumettières and the entire block between Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Laval. Two new 10 floor residential buildings with 121 units and 70 parking spaces would be built on the site. Same architectural firm (Lapalme Rheault) as Le Vibe at Maisonneuve and Élizabeth-Bruyère. I assume same developer as well (Groupe Sheiner), but I could be wrong on that one.
The City recommends the demolition of the current buildings. The zoning allows for 8 floors while the CDP calls for 10 floors.
The local Councillor Cédric Tessier approves of the project.
I'm disappointed with the height. I feel that the intersection of two major boulevards is the right place for height.
