The northern highway needs report that was released a little while back indicated that the province was going to continue "design work for Highway 69" or something to that effect.

I think that might give some insight into how quickly (or lack thereof) contracts are going to be called for Highway 69.

The current work is scheduled to wrap up in the summer of 2022. I wouldn't expect another expansion contract until at least that time.
