Pinch? That's the first time I've heard that being used as a punishment. None of the kids complained to their parents about it?
Hearing the same bias over and over about any group or any individual will eventually seep into your brain which is why the people trying to instill racism, hatred, etc. do it. It's partly why I posted the question which I saw a black girl ask on Twitter yesterday. When I was looking at the thread it already had over 17K responses. I was amazed at how many people said they never had a black teacher until they went to college.
