Seeing the scale of the stone wall and glass in this view, and recalling the large tall slits on the opposite side, I can't but think that several of the design ques are rooted in minimalism. Am happy to see a greater number of minimalist'ish buildings in the city.
The one thing I'm missing with this building is a more prominent landscaping. The backyard seems largely driveway, where it could have been done better IMHO.
