That rant is really the embodiment of the last paragraph of my last statement. There was a particular developer who decided to not develop those Expo lands and you know it. Also there will be a lot of social housing and rental in the new developments and the remaining market condos are now much harder to sell to speculators who leave them vacant. If he did develop everything in a timely manner I believe the DTES problems would have improved a lot more then it has and likely would have maintained the upward swing from the momentum of the huge redevelopment of the Expo lands. Your way of thinking has maintained the status quo which led us here in the first place.
