Well sure, if LRT reaches Barrhaven before MOOSE does then you've got a point, but assuming that the opposite happens (just imagine for a moment that MOOSE manages to reach all its targets and begins operating in 2021, or hell even as late as 2025 or something, over a whole decade before LRT might reach that area) you can see why a station at Fallowfield might be worth paying for, right?

Even then, there could still be other advantages to having a station there. For example that line would apparently run directly into Gatineau which is something the LRT won't be able to. If it uses bi-level trains maybe it won't be packed like a sardine can like the LRT might end up being. The possibilities are endless.
