Someone or some entity has appealed to the local planning tribunal formerly the Ontario Municipal board. Usually it means some one objects to the zoning approval. You have to search the Ontario local planning tribunal Web site to find out the nature of the appeal.
Project will be on hold till a hearing is held and a decision made by the local planning tribunal. This could take 3 to 6 months or more.
