It's no longer Hydro Quebec, the whole dam (the whole dam thing) is
now owned by Energy Ottawa, and the electricity from it will be going to Ottawa, not Gatineau. I think they are completely redoing and modernizing the power generation plant similar to what was done on the Ontario side. Hopefully it also results in improved public access on that side since most of the new mechanicals are below ground.
