Things aren't as bad for the Calgary folks in that section these days, only because Calgary is in a downturn. when things pick up and you guys start posting too many positive things about Calgary, the knives would be back out soon enough. Don't kid yourself, the people there haven't changed.

The fundamental problem with the Canada section is it's only about 3 dozen regulars (3 or 4 people from each region or major city), who are are there all the time, and they all love what they love.
They make darn sure nobody says something inaccurate or posts something that makes their city look better than the others. The whole section is nothing more than a thinly veiled "hooray for my city and my culture" discussion. It's never going to amount to anything more than that.

There's a lot of jealousy and downright hatred toward Calgary and Alberta in the Canada forum and probably has been since the start. There's no need to wait for things to get better here. Some of the posters in that forum have an unhealthy hatred toward Albertans.
