I've had them all - passable (the one in Logan Square is pretty decent too), but nothing I've ever had in the US whether it's in NYC, Chicago, or LA - came anywhere even remotely close to how good it is in Malaysia. My ex girlfriend was from there and she and her friends would homecook meals in Chicago that were better than any of the restaurants. None wanted to open a restaurant though
Best food of any country I've ever been - China is #2 but luckily in the US in a few cities like NYC you can get Chinese food that is pretty legit. Based on the early reviews for this place by Malaysians...that could change. My friend from Malaysia is going to check it out and let me know how it is.
