well if the city isn't willing to stand by the plan that they made then it is either;
1 - on them for making a plan that the people didn't want
2 - not standing by the plan they made because they are spineless
3 - they are idiots listening to idiots
if they are going to listen to a group of people insulting another group of people, then i would think #2 or #3 applies to council.
in the end, the people got what they wanted though. the people did elect these people to do what the people wanted. obviously something went wrong.
but, power to the developer for taking advantage of the CoV's inept council/stupid residents. cant fault them, they did try to do something to help the community. funny how the community rejects them and supports them doing 0 and making even more money. haha. lets hope this doesn't have a domino effect with other properties in the area. although if it does, it was a self inflicted wound so you can't blame the developers.
