The only other comment I have on this is that I agree with 1overcosc in that the government needs to take a good hard look at any group/charity that peddles an anti-LGBTQ or anti-minority message.
Back on topic, I think that the move to Vanier is a good move overall, but the shelter needs to bring more value to the community than just being a shelter. Vanier is already a vulnerable part of Ottawa, it would be good to have a stable community center in that neighbourhood.

The Sally Ann site in Vanier is a block from the Wabano Centre and about 10-15 minutes on foot from the Community Centre up on the "lollipop" loop of Pères-Blancs.
