The biggest issue I can see happening is that the Woodall Rogers Fwy (TX SPUR 366) is not constructed well on either end where it ties into I-35E or US 75-North Central Expy to adequately feed traffic that I-345 carries.
So they'd also have to re-stack and reconfigure Woodall Rogers on both ends to make it work.
