Telus have been clearing their site for some time in preparation for something? Combined the parcels of land would be over 33 acres....it could potentially be a massive project right beside the Sperling Skytrain. Intel anyone?
Wow! This is exciting. I live relatively close by to Saputo and was wondering if they'd ever move. Perfect location with a large adjacent empty piece of land (former Telus office, now demolished but the land is sitting empty). Sperling station has a bus loop that services 144 SFU/Metrotown, 110 Brentwood/Lougheed, and 134 Lake City/Brentwood. It'll be disappointing if another company buys the Dairyland site and keeps it an industrial area. Even if the land gets redeveloped, the rampant NIMBY'ism of the area will probably limit the land to townhome/low-rise duty. It's unfortunate that significant densification around Sperling Skytrain station will probably never happen.

With regards to the empty Telus property, from what I remember reading, Telus has already sold the land to a different company. There were plans to make some strip mall type thing but, honestly that seemed like a terrible idea in my opinion. Looks like nothing came out of it and the property has been sitting bare for the past 1.5 years perhaps until they can figure out what to do with it.

Here is an image of the two sites. Even though Google Earth still shows the main Telus building, it has been leveled since 2015, but the small strip mall-like buildings at the corner of the property remain.
