There is no such thing as rational planning. The City could have invested in better bus shelters or upgraded transit hubs. They could have created new roads or built more bus queue jumpers on all major FTN routes...etc..
This is a project that will solely do well for the politicians and stakeholders involved. If it was otherwise, they would have held a referendum or staged multiple open houses and community engagement events.
