There are a number of requests for variances before the September meeting of the Moncton PAC regarding the next phase of the Jonathan Park subdivision.
For those who are uncertain where this is actually located, this is the subdivision on the other side of Ryan Street at the Evergreen Drive intersection.

As you can see from the above image, the next phase (the northwest corner of the development) is planned to be duplexes and town homes. I wonder how the current residents feel about this since the housing stock is currently detached single family homes.......
It may not matter since there are already a lot of duplexes on the nearby portion of Evergreen Drive, but it would be interesting to know if the residents knew this was the ultimate plan when they purchased their lots.
