Aesthetically maybe smaller floorplates are better on average, though I like slabs in some cases. But prepare for higher prices. Smaller floorplates mean elevators, stairs, exterior enclosures, utilities, and other costs are generally substantially higher because you need a set for each tower, and the cumulative total of each will be higher than one set (like 2x2 elevators vs. 3, which also means slower service).
