Everyone will just walk through the tiny parking lot next to it, so the sidewalk on the street is irrelevant. This gets back to that curvy vs. straight sidewalk through the park discussion. People will take the straight line every time. Besides, it's not built yet. Since the road will largely be new, they will probably add a sidewalk.
