The rendering looks good but it's hard to say what some of the materials are. Are the balconies meant to be some kind of partially-frosted glass?

The lobby level seems to be turning out pretty nicely so far. One of the big deficiencies of new downtown buildings of a few years ago is that their lower floors were too low-slung. None of the new buildings seem to suffer from this. They also have features like awnings to keep pedestrians out of the rain and snow, something that is pretty useful in Halifax's climate. Streets like Barrington used to have a lot more sheltered areas. Unfortunately, they've been stripped away over time and the street has ended up more exposed and less comfortable as a result.
