Canada's 10 Tallest U/C

I'm thrilled to bits that Canada, be it Toronto, Calgary, or Edmonton, be building such impressively high towers that Vancouver nowhere near approaches. (Montreal stays cool on height, too, you'll notice)

But with Toronto Airport gearing up to be a hub like Chicago, New York, or another, to see Canada emerge on the world stage prosperous and sassy, even during difficult economic times, the accompanying buildings make a real statement. Love the Aura at College Park Tower, and One Bloor is totally magnificent. Bay-Adelaide is nifty, and you'll find designs in Toronto you won't find anywhere else in Canada. (Though out of respect, the same could be said for Montreal, as they've reached a level of 'classy elegance' not really so evident in the ROC)

Vancouver, where I'm from, has a conservative and restrained skyline, largely due to height zoning restrictions, "The Viewcones," which sometimes have a 'dumbing down' effect. Nevertheless, the city has some handsome buildings to be seen, often unlike others in Canada, too.

What Canada is coming up with is great, but please remember, height isn't everything, (London, Paris, Rome, Rio, Stockholm, Copenhagen, DC,) .... but those ideas are for another thread.
