One of the most respected military men in all of NATO, General Rick Hillier posted this on Facebook about Monday debate.
"Mulcair , in my view, has not come come across well. His strategy really appears false and he does not even seem to believe it himself. Trudeau came across very strongly : until he talked about convicted terrorists - those who plan to or do attack Canada, after obtaining citizenship - should keep their citizenship and he appears delighted to be say he's canceling the F-35 and putting savings to the navy. That is overtly false and there will be no savings unless we ask the U.S. to do our air defence. Harper smartly let each of the other two slaughter each other - good tactics!!!"
